An 11lb rise in the weights could not stop Only Spoofing in the second division of the 5f handicap, with the unexposed sprinter drawing clear to register a dominant five-length success.

The handicapper is sure to have another say but, just like he had done at Hamilton, Only Spoofing moved like a horse capable of coping with much better company as he cruised into the lead and quickened in good style.

It was only his second start at the minimum trip and just his third for Jedd O'Keeffe, who didn't know he was buying such a well-handicapped sprinter out of the Willie McCreery yard but is understandably delighted to have done so.
