Nebo has Hills eyeing Royal Ascot assignment after impressive debut

The maiden that set Strong Suit and Canford Cliffs on their way to glory in the Coventry Stakes was won in emphatic style by Nebo, who had trainer Charlie Hills purring and eyeing that same Royal Ascot contest.

Racing in the colours of Julie and David Martin, who also own smart chaser Charbel, Nebo was last off the bridle under Hills's apprentice Callum Shepherd, who described the Kodiac colt as "very professional and very quick".

Hills, who struck with another juvenile when Red Roman won at Newmarket on Thursday evening and is chuffed with his team of two-year-olds, was also impressed.
