Nash continues purple patch as Moyode Gold relishes testing ground

Curragh trainer James Nash had gone more than a year without a winner at the end of November, but he is now enjoying a purple patch, and after nearly saddling a double at Fairyhouse on Saturday, he carded his fifth winner of the season.

Moyode Gold, owned by his wife Sarah and his mother-in-law Pauline Gavin, landed the mares' maiden hurdle.

Nash has also been enjoying a good partnership with claimer Gavin Brouder, the duo teaming up successfully for the fourth time this winter.
