Mount Moriah continues rapid ascent for Beckett

Mount Moriah is living up to his name as he continued his steep ascent up the ranks with another runaway success on his step up in trip.

Owner Norman Brunskill said: "I've had a few horses over the years but he's the best one.

"It's quite exciting but he's only won by four lengths – he won by five last time," said the owner slightly tongue-in-cheek after his three-year-old had laughed at the handicapper's attempt to stop him with a 12lb rise for that last romp.
