Mister Fisher got off the mark over fences at the second time of asking with an assured performance under Nico de Boinville in the Ryman Novices' Chase.

Backed into 15-8 favouritism, Mister Fisher jumped the last in the second place, but eased upsides long-time leader Good Boy Bobby on the run-in for a cosy success.

Winning trainer Nicky Henderson told Racing TV: "You'd have to be pleased with that especially as I don't think that's his ground. Nico said he wasn't travelling well at the top of the hill but his jumping held up very well.

"He's a lovely quality horse with gears. He's very progressive and we hope he might be a JLT horse."

Betfair went 14-1 first show about the winner for the JLT Novices' Chase at the festival in March.

Moore's Botox Has justifies favouritism to take Triumph Hurdle Trial

The Gary Moore-trained Botox Has made all under the trainer's son Joshua to take the opening the Triumph Trial Juvenile Hurdle at Cheltenham.

Second to the promising Allmankind at Prestbury Park last month, the 8-11 favourtie jumped smoothly throughout and stayed on well up the hill to hold off Langer Dan by five lengths.

Speaking to Racing TV, Joshua Moore said: "He is quite babyish still but he's a real galloper. I didn't want to make my own running but I was forced to and so we had to see whether he'd have the mind for it.

"He had his ears pricked all the way but the only time he struggled a bit was in the straight. He was getting a bit lonely out in front but he jumped well and put it away in the end."
