Last season’s Derby second Cliffs Of Moher benefited from an outstanding Ryan Moore ride in Monday’s Group 2 Mooresbridge Stakes to notch his first success since winning at Chester just under a year ago.

In what was a busy three-year-old campaign, Cliffs Of Moher finished fourth in the Coral-Eclipse and the Juddmonte International after the Derby, as well as finishing out of the placings in the Irish Champion Stakes, the Champion Stakes and the Breeders’ Cup Turf.

In winning Naas's feature, which O’Brien has landed with Found and Minding in the previous two seasons, Cliffs Of Moher was described as coming back to himself by the master of Ballydoyle.
