Malaya keeps up Nicholls' winning Wensleydale run with impressive victory

It's early in the season to be sorting out a pecking order among juvenile hurdlers but Paul Nicholls is clearly quick to know what he's got.

The former champion trainer has sent four horses up for the Wensleydale Juvenile Hurdle in the last five years and all bar one of them have returned triumphant.

Malaya, who had already won at Listed level in France, made it second-time lucky since joining Nicholls as she made all to score by four lengths under Sam Twiston-Davies.
