Four months earlier, Josephine Gordon had narrowly denied his Savalas when driving Encrypted to victory in a £100,000 6f handicap for three-year-olds here.

This time he had her on the team in another £100,000 sprint and she did the job once more, guiding Major Jumbo to his first victory since April.
