Lisp continued the trend of unbeaten odds-on favourites in the 2m1f novice chase at Plumpton to land the first leg of a possible £60,000 Cheltenham bonus.

Successful trainer Alan King is the only previous winner of the bonus scheme which is paid out when any winner of five nominated novice chases at the track go on to glory at the Cheltenham Festival in the same season.

King, who collected when My Way De Solzen won the Arkle in 2007, could have a similar path in mind after his classy chestnut won by 19 lengths on just his second start over fences.
