Line House clocks up the air miles but manages to get off the mark in good style

It’s a long way from Dubai to Nottinghamshire but Line House made the journey pay dividends when she easily outpointed the opposition with a comfortable success in the 7f novice event.

Trained by Karl Burke, the three-year-old had run at Meydan on three occasions in obviously stronger company and relished the step down in class, responding immediately when popped the question to beat Dutch Monarch.

There was plenty of late support for the filly, who runs in the colours of Nick Bradley Racing, as her price contracted from 5-2 into 13-8 favourite, and Burke looks certain to find another suitable race for her before the all-weather season comes to a close at the end of the month.
