He has trained Derby winners in England and Ireland but he was completely overcome after the success of Heaven Help Us in the maiden hurdle at Cheltenham.

Paul Hennessy is one of the best in the business in the greyhound world with winners of the Irish Derby and two in the English Derby, but Heaven Help Us could be the start of something in his nascent racehorse training career, helped on its way by winning owner John Turner.

"You have no idea what this means. It's hard to take this in, switching codes slightly!" Hennessy said after Danny Mullins had reeled in the favourite Master Debonair on the run-in.
