Kimber strikes again as Tizzard enjoys fantastic four-timer

Much of the interest on the card evaporated following the withdrawal of Black Op but none of that will bother conditional jockey Harry Kimber, who made it two winners from four career rides after Norse Legend landed the 2m7f handicap hurdle.

Kimber gave the seven-year-old a very patient ride and his 10lb allowance proved all important in the driving finish, with his mount digging deep from the final hurdle to outpoint Pahaska by a neck.

The victory proved the second leg of a 200-1 four-timer for his boss Colin Tizzard, who recalled spotting Kimber a number of years ago.
