A thrilling three-way photo-finish provided a 66-1 winner as Keystroke came over the top late on to beat Yafta and favourite Brando in the 6f Group 3 Connaught Access Flooring Abernant Stakes.

It looked like Brando's hat-trick bid in the race would come off as the Kevin Ryan-trained sprinter started to wear down Yafta, but the pair were trumped by Adam Kirby and seven-year-old Keystroke.

Trainer Stuart Williams, who was celebrating a first Group winner, and at his home track, said: "Keystroke came to me about six months ago and was in great condition. He'd shown us an awful lot of speed so we thought we'd try him over six furlongs.
