Just delightful for Hammond as Cameron caps a fine festive period

Christmas has been good to Micky Hammond, who sent out three winners on Boxing Day and landed the £23,000 188Bet Castleford Chase here 24 hours later.

His Just Cameron was the 10-1 outsider of the six runners, having been well held in two races previously this term.

But the 10-year-old was 4lb lower in the handicap than when third in this last year and overhauled Duke Of Navan for a length-and-three-quarter victory under Joe Colliver, who was continuing his fine run after Grade 1 success at Ascot last Saturday.
