Joy for four-timer Skeltons and Price as the jumpers return

It was a time for celebration for Dan and Harry Skelton and trainer Katy Price as the new jumps season got under way after its six-day break. The Skeltons won four of the six races and Minellacelebration landed the feature for Price for the second consecutive year.

Twelve months ago Minellacelebration, the mount of Ben Poste, had come into the 3m handicap chase on the back of a recent win, but on this occasion he hadn't run for 171 days, during which time he had a wind operation.

The old determination was still evident though as he held on bravely by half a length to land the £35,000 event from Sizing Codelco in a driving finish.
