Newmarket trainer John Ryan was stopped in his tracks by racing's enforced shutdown and needed to take the high road to Scotland to get back motoring again.

Ryan registered a first winner of the delayed season when Catch My Breath made the 720-mile round trip worthwhile in the mile handicap.

The cancellation of racing due to Covid-19 could not have come at a worse time for Ryan as he had his 16-strong team flying high, with nine winners in the first two months of the year.
