Jones earns praise with perfectly judged ride on Pactolus

Stuart Williams was full of praise for both horse and jockey after Pactolus was guided to victory in the feature by Aaron Jones.

Pactolus won the 1m1½f Betway Handicap off a career-high mark of 96, having travelled kindly in midfield for Jones before challenging down the centre and holding off the late-closing Mount Tahan by a neck.

Williams believes this particular division is full of evenly matched horses but is optimistic Pactolus could win again in a similar event.
