For the third time in the last ten years, Mark Johnston claimed the Listed 1m1f bet365 Feilden Stakes as Mildenberger displayed qualities readily associated with the yard's runners.

Before racing, Qipco 2,000 Guineas hope Elarqam had cruised over the Rowley Mile turf and, while things were not quite as easy for Mildenberger, he still displayed plenty of class and tenacity to defeat Fortune's Pearl.

The pair had the race between them from a long way out with Fortune's Pearl allowed to bowl along in front, before James Doyle came to tackle him inside the final furlong.
