Richard Johnson's bid for a fourth consecutive Stobart jockeys' championship looked under threat a couple of months ago, but at Fontwell he continued to streak away from title rival Harry Skelton with a terrific treble.

The 41-year-old got off the mark with a remarkable success on New Millennium to continue the resurgence of the Philip Hobbs yard after their struggles last season.

The five-year-old appeared to go off too fast but found plenty when challenged by Le Precieux to pick up his first win in game style.
