On the second day of their country's Champions Weekend, Irish trainers enjoyed a great afternoon on British soil with four winners, two of whom hailed from John Feane's County Kildare stable.

On a wet and gloomy day that tested the eyesight of commentator Simon Holt, Ana Lichious battled bravely to win the mile fillies' handicap by a neck under David Egan to give Feane his first winner at the track.

Syndicate, ridden by Luke Morris, completed the double in the 1m2f fillies' handicap 35 minutes later.
