Jamie Gormley continued his rise up the northern riding ranks when reaching 50 winners for the year with success on Pammi in the second division of the 1m4½f handicap for Jim Goldie.
It has been a rapid rise for the apprentice from Langholm in Scotland just over two years after riding his first winner in his third year with a licence.
Gormley has a strong following in his homeland having topped the charts at Hamilton this year with 11 winners with another nine at Ayr and five at Musselburgh.
