Jacob, Munir and Souede: a marriage made in heaven

Few retainers work so well as the one which ties Daryl Jacob to owners Simon Munir and Isaac Souede, the benefits of which came to glorious fruition with Grade 1 wins from We Have a Dream and L'Ami Serge, and the most honourable of seconds with Bristol De Mai.

Aintree has been good to Jacob, for whom Grand National success on Neptune Collonges in 2012 was the highlight of a successful relationship with Paul Nicholls, and this was another day to savour.

What's more, they are far from finished, for the team have obvious Grade 1 chances with Terrefort and Wholestone, not to mention a far from unrealistic Grand National chance with Ucello Conti.
