A Stewards' Cup followed by a Shergar Cup strike shows what fine form Dean Ivory has his string in and the trainer may have found a horse to take him to the highest level in Eirene, who captured the Listed St Hugh's Stakes in good style under Robert Winston.

In the absence of the ill Ivory, Winston mentioned the Group 1 Juddmonte Cheveley Park Stakes as a possible target, although the daughter of Declaration Of War would need supplementing.

Owners Michael and Heather Yarrow have some funds though, having won the Stewards' Cup with Lancelot Du Lac, while Eirene collected £14,461.
