It's that man again: Dermot Weld secures 12th Concorde with Yulong

Dermot Weld continued his fine record in the Group 3 Coolmore-sponsored Concorde Stakes as Yulong Gold Fairy provided him with his twelfth winner of the race.
Ridden by the owner Zhang Yuesheng’s retained rider Shane Foley, Yulong Gold Fairy stayed on best to lead inside the final furlong, denying the luckless Smash Williams by a head.
Weld said: “She loves that ground and is a very consistent filly. That'll be it for her this year. I'll speak with her owner and hopefully she'll stay in training next year.”
