'It's mega' - father's day means plenty for in-demand jockey Bryony Frost

Bryony Frost may be looking forward to getting on a serious Grand National contender for the champion trainer but nothing beats riding a winner for your father.

Yala Enki and Saturday's £100,000 Grand National Trial at Haydock can wait. The jockey was thrilled to conjure a first victory out of This Breac since he joined Jimmy Frost, driving him to a two-and-a-half-length win in the 2m chase at Leicester.

"That was awesome," she said. "It's great to ride dad winners. It's mega; they try so hard with them at home. They don't have the biggest guns but they have masses of patience with the horses and they do really well with what they have.
