It's a walk in the park for Cooper and Nolan with Castafiore

In 2011 Paul Nolan left Cheltenham as one of the hottest properties in the training ranks after Noble Prince had stormed up the famous hill to win the Jewson Novices' Chase under the 20-time champion jockey Tony McCoy.

Unbelievably, Nolan had to wait until last week for his next sniff of a Cheltenham Festival winner when Discorama finished a good second behind Gordon Elliott’s Blow By Blow in the Martin Pipe Handicap Hurdle.

It was a storming run from an unexposed horse who should provide connections with many more days, but more significantly it was a clear pointer that Nolan is back where he belongs – training good horses.
