'It's a fairytale' as Bryony Frost strikes on return from injury on Black Corton
Newly crowned champion conditional Bryony Frost made a winning return to action after a polished victory in the bet365 Oaksey Chase, completing a quick double for champion trainer Paul Nicholls.
The popular jockey, who missed out on the Grand National due to injury, was reunited with her beloved Black Corton to draw clear of Gold Present and San Benedeto for her 50th winner of the season.
Frost said: "It's a fairytale. He lost his way a bit but I said' 'Blacky, I need you today'. He's got the fire back in his belly. The little horse is back."

The Dan Skelton-trained Cobra De Mai set a strong pace from the off and was taken on by Go Conquer, with Frost and Black Corton closely following in third. Always travelling and jumping well, the Grade 1-winning pair took up the lead for an 11-length victory.
Paddy Power make Black Corton 33-1 for the Galway Plate, which Nicholls won with Oslot in 2008, and that race is the next target.
Nicholls said: “It’s mega prize-money and there’s nothing else he can run in."
There was a sad postscript to the race as Josses Hill, who finished fifth, collapsed and had to be put down.
