Is there any rival who can stop Enable making history in the Arc?
While she has been winning Group 1s, Enable had left a gap before the Yorkshire Oaks between her brilliant best and what she had been showing on the track, hence the controversial positioning of Crystal Ocean as the 'world's best racehorse'.
Her performance at York was deeply impressive and signalled beyond doubt that she is close to the horse she was. In a fairly ordinary Arc, she deserves to be odds-on. I suspect Japan will give her most to do. If Enable's initial kick fails to take her beyond recall, he could set up a nervy finish.

In most cases you would look to take on an even-money favourite in a competitive Group 1 like the Arc, but I find it very tough to pick a hole in Enable's form and she surely records a historic third victory in the race and ends her career on a high.
