Not content with taking home half of the spoils in the Ayr Gold Cup, Irish trainers continued a productive few days in Scotland with a treble of victories at Hamilton.

Military Hill, trained by Adrian McGuinness, continued the luck of the Irish when getting the perfect trip in the Jonathan Letham Memorial Handicap.

Making his move a few furlongs out under Robbie Downey, the five-year-old avoided congestion on the rail with a smooth run down the centre of the track and had enough left to hold off the late challenge of Jo Binney, who, by contrast, endured a torrid trip.
