After 90 days since the curtain temporarily came down on Irish jump racing at Clonmel in March, Limerick hosted its much-welcomed return.

Colin McBratney's eight-hour round trip from County Down was rewarded by 20-1 winner Laureate striking under birthday boy Sean Flanagan.

The first fixture over obstacles on these shores since March 24 was well received by the National Hunt fraternity, with McBratney praising his staff for their efforts during a challenging time for the industry.
