Early indications suggest the smart Paul Nicholls-trained If You Say Run could surpass her exploits over hurdles after a bloodless chasing debut under Harry Cobden in the 2m4f mares' novice chase at Worcester.

Obliging by six lengths at odds of 4-6, the 140-rated hurdler brushed aside the challenge of Love Lane in smooth fashion despite hanging right in the run-in.

Chief market rival and 130-rated hurdler Duhallow Gesture was the disappointment of the race for Anthony Honeyball, weakening out of contention to trail home last of the five runners.
