Huddersfilly Town finds the back of the net for Furtado

It has been a good weekend for Richard Ward, owner of syndicate BGC Racing, as the team he supports, Huddersfield Town, hammered Watford 4-1 on Saturday, and then Huddersfilly Town obliged in the 1m2f handicap.

It was a second course-and-distance win in three starts for the three-year-old, as she wore down Our Kim to get home by a neck.

Ward and the BGC owners were not present as they were enjoying an open morning at trainer Ivan Furtado's yard, leaving racing manager Robert Greenwood – a Watford fan! – to brave the rain and low temperatures in the winner's enclosure.
