Highwaygrey continued his excellent run of form for Tim Easterby when winning the 1m2f handicap, his third success at the course.

The four-year-old was sent off the 6-5 favourite under David Allan and held off the late challenge of Baryshnikov to score by a head.

"He's fallen in love with the track. They go a nice gallop and can't really quicken away from you – that fills him with confidence. He grabs the bridle and thinks he's Frankel for a few strides," Allan told Racing TV.
