Once again Jessica Harrington was providing the entertainment from the luxury of her sitting room on Wednesday, as the cocooning trainer sent out a Listed race double at Navan with Silence Please and Ancient Spirit, bringing the stable’s tally of winners to five since racing resumed in Ireland.

The first leg of the big-race double was recorded when Silence Please, ridden by Tom Madden, thwarted the yard's better-fancied One Voice by a nose to secure a one-two in the Salsabil Stakes.

Madden, who is second jockey to Harington behind Shane Foley, was recording his first Listed triumph, and heaped praise on his filly’s staying power.
