Harrington returns in style as Court and Steel double up

Jessica Harrington might not admit there was any grand design to it, but she certainly had the guns loaded for her return to a racetrack for the first time since Cheltenham in March as Barrington Court and Polished Steel got her going for the day with a double at Tipperary.

Harrington herself elected to go to Leopardstown, where she also enjoyed success, with her daughter Kate on hand to welcome back the jumps winners.

In the MansionBet Hurdle, Barrington Court confirmed herself a smart prospect. JP McManus’s Punchestown maiden hurdle winner left behind a disappointing turn at Leopardstown in March to bounce back to form under Mark Walsh, finding plenty to run out a decisive winner from Recent Revelations, with the favourite Russian Diamond back in third.
