Jo Foster: won with her only runner of the day at Southwell

Trainer Jo Foster, who suffered horrific injuries in a fall at home in November, chose the right day to pay her first visit to the racecourse for nearly six months as she won with her only runner of the day.

Foster had two operations after she fell onto a metal roller, breaking four bones in the back of her spine as well as having her pelvis detached from her spine.

She said: "This is my first day back racing. Jack Berry House has been amazing, I go there at least once a week, more if I can."
