The all-weather has been a good nursery ground for Group-race performers in recent years and the Richard Hannon team are hoping their latest graduate Dotted Swiss will continue the trend.
The two-year-old debutante looked far from fully wound up for the 6f fillies' novice race but still got the better of two more experienced rivals.
Tom Ward, assistant to Hannon, said: "The Albany is on her radar –she is a Royal Ascot type – and she will improve no end."
