Brodie Hampson will always remember last year's Royal Artillery Gold Cup win for her late father the most fondly but added a second dream win when tasting a first success at the home of jumps racing on the hunter chase evening.

She again had trainer Fergal O'Brien to thank for the memories as he trains Are They Your Own, who gave Sam Cavallaro no hope of completing his race hat-trick even though he gallantly stayed on for a distant second in the rare 2m hunter chase.

Hampson revealed: "I spread some of my father's ashes on the track when I walked it before racing so he was here with me.
