Gutsy Success Days gifts Condon biggest career victory

After a week of nail-biting and watching weather forecasts, Ken Condon enjoyed the biggest win of his training career when Success Days gained his first Group 2 victory in the Sky Bet York Stakes under a fine front-running ride from Shane Foley.

The winner, who carries the colours of his breeder Robert Ng, has mixed it with the best over the years but needs give in the ground, so the rain arrived right on cue.

However, it was only by a nose that he held the globe-trotting Mondialiste after Foley had dictated the fractions to perfection.
