Guineas-bound Madhmoon better than Awtaad according to evergreen Prendergast

Don't say you weren't told. Kevin Prendergast has made no secret of his affection for Madhmoon and now you know why.

He is a genuine Guineas contender and the prospect of his 86-year-old trainer adding another Classic to his CV next spring has got us all giddy.

Madhmoon looked good first time out – and he looked even better second time out. The Group 2 KPMG Champions Juvenile Stakes looked a decent contest. It was certainly no walkover but the bout could have been stopped approaching the final furlong as there was only going to be one winner.
