Owen Burrows enjoyed a “massive” win for his yard as Wadilsafa gave his trainer a first Listed success of the year in the Fortune Stakes.

Burrows’ Lambourn yard are recovering after sickness left them without runners for three weeks, but since returning last Tuesday the trainer has enjoyed three wins from nine runners – with all of them finishing in the top four.

Burrows said: “It’s a massive win for of us. Our horses have started to come back to form and we’ve had a few winners.
