John Egan: rode Gracious John to win the feature

John Egan was the star of the day in riding a quickfire hat-trick, which featured a double for Abergavenny trainer David Evans and owner Terry Reffell with Gracious John and Gracious Tom.

The veteran jockey, who has now ridden at least 50 winners in a season for the ninth time, used the same tactics on board all three winning mounts on a day it paid to be prominent.
