It might not quite rival Michael Dickinson's famous five or recent exploits of Willie Mullins at Cheltenham but trainer Chris Gordon served up his own memorable moment 24 hours before this year's festival.

Sending out five horses to Plumpton and Stratford, the Winchester trainer had the perfect afternoon with all five winning at cumulative odds of 934-1 with a treble in Sussex to go with a double at Stratford.

What made it even more amazing is Gordon, with a stable of 33 horses, was taking his record to 11 winners from his last 16 runners after five winless months last summer left him in single figures at the start of 2017.
