Good Thyne Tara makes no mistake to extend Mullins domination

Good Thyne Tara had the form to justify her position as odds-on favourite for the Listed mares' hurdle and she duly obliged by making all for a comfortable four-and-a-half-length win under Paul Townend.

The eight-year-old provided trainer Willie Mullins with his fourth consecutive win in the event and afterwards Townend, who went on to complete a double on the Yvonne Dunleavy-trained Padraic O'Conaire, said: "Good Thyne Tara is a very good mare and was entitled to win the way she did.

"She ran a cracking race when sixth in the Galway Hurdle last time and would have finished a bit closer but for a mistake at the last. Going back to her days in bumpers, her form has been rock-solid."
