Godolphin let Wolf Country loose on the Norfolk coast

It was like turning back the clock at the first October meeting on the North Denes since 2013 with quality two-year-olds from big Newmarket stables everywhere you looked.

Yarmouth officials hoped that a return to the glory days of the seventies and eighties was just around the corner after they relaid the track, and with horses like Wolf Country now turning out they could be back in business.

Godolphin's son of Dubawi was one of the top lots at last year's Tattersalls October Sales at 725,000gns and looked it when streaking away with division one of the mile maiden by three and a half lengths.
