Fuller proud as punch as Star Foot toughs it out

Champion female amateur jump jockey Page Fuller got the better of her professional counterpart Rachel Blackmore in a titanic finish to the 2m handicap hurdle for women riders.
No quarter was given by either but it was Fuller’s mount Star Foot who just edged out Blackmore on last year’s winner Baby Jake as the pair duelled along the stands’ rail.
“Coming down the back straight I thought I was on the winner but I knew I was going to get boxed in and had to get out,” said the winning rider.
