Local rider Paul Townend enjoyed one of the best days of his career as he landed a four-timer highlighted by victory on superstar chaser Douvan in the Grade 2 Hilly Way Chase.

Just half an hour after Douvan lit up the Mallow racecourse, Townend steered pocket-rocket Listen Dear to victory in the Grade 3 mares' novice chase.
