Forest Des Aigles marked himself down as a chaser going places after racking up a hat-trick in the 3m handicap chase.

Dispatched on the long journey from Lucinda Russell's base in Kinross, the Raymond Anderson Green-owned six-year-old survived an error at the last to run out a ready winner in the hands of Derek Fox.

Successful over hurdles in France for Guillaume Macaire, Forest Des Aigles has raced entirely over fences since joining Russell and landed his third race in a row as a second-season chaser on his first attempt at three miles.
