Trevor Whelan rode his first winner after more than four months out with a broken leg when Fizzy Feet proved too good for her rivals in the 5f handicap.

The former jump jockey, who made his name on hurdler Lil Rockerfeller, was on the rise in his new role as a Flat jockey when suffering the freak break in a fall at Chester on his 13th winner last year.

Trainer Dave Loughnane was giving Whelan his first winner back, having also trained the Chester winner Rockesbury.
