Top-class hurdler The New One bowed out at Cheltenham on Saturday in the International Hurdle, a race he won a record-equalling three times. Here are five of his finest moments

It was the start of something special. Having won his first two bumpers at Warwick and Cheltenham before finishing sixth to Champagne Fever in the 2016 Champion Bumper at the Cheltenham Festival, it was at Aintree where The New One really announced himself as a future star. The race also marked the beginning of a legendary rivalry with My Tent Or Yours, who was a length and a quarter back in second. The pair's tussles would entertain racing fans for the next six years.
